Author and historian Mark Weston (above) will join Steve and Lew in the studio this week to offer some insight into the workings of the Electoral College. On December 19, the college will gather to cast their votes as instructed by the voters in their respective states. Typically, this process is a formality, but this year with Hillary Clinton losing the electoral vote count but winning the popular vote by a margin of  more than 2.5 million votes over Donald Trump some wonder what the members of the college will do. Weston, whose latest book, is about the past six elections where the winner of the popular vote was not elected president will provide some context of this unusual, but not unique, situation as well as the future of the electoral college system of electing presidents.
