Representative Anna Eskamani, then a report on UFOs! Wednesday, Feb 3 on the Peace & Justice Report

Written by on Monday, February 1, 2021

This Wednesday, February 3 at 9am, the Peace & Justice Report will have three guests.

First we had a short report from Jim Saunders, the Executive Editor of the News Service of Florida. Jim has agreed to give us a weekly five-minute overview of the latest activity in the Florida Legislature – new bills, upcoming hearings, and so forth. Its subscribers pay for that news, but you can read some their stories shared with Tallahassee Reports here.

Our first guest was Anna V. Eskamani, Florida House of Representatives member from District 47 which includes East Orlando, Winter Park and other communities. She’s the first Iranian-American elected to any public office in Florida and is known for her progressive views. We’ll discuss her priorities for this session and current pending bills such as HB 1, the bill known as the “anti-protest” bill.

Our final guest was Billy Cox, a reporter with the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Billy writes the De Void blog which has long covered, among other things, signs of extra-terrestrial life. We’ll talk about his story about the man who broke the UFO embargo, a recent New Yorker article and the Pentagon’s published reports and videos of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Click on all the links in this paragraph for some amazing video!

Please note that due to a technical error, the first seven minutes of today’s show were overlaid with music and you join us at about seven minutes in just after I introduced Anna Eskamani.
