This Wednesday, May 11 at 9am, we’ll talk to Sarasota’s new Chief of Police, Rex Troche. Troche, who began his career with the Sarasota Police Department in 2002, has served as the interim chief since August 2021. He will serve as Sarasota’s 13th police chief and its first Hispanic chief. We’ll talk about such things as his plans for community policing.
Our second guest this Wednesday will be Angela Wynn, one of the founders of Support Our Schools. Angela Wynn, along with Juliette Scholles, Lisa Gialdini Schurr, and Paulina Testerman founded SOS this year with support from sixteen coalition members. They had a forum at Fogartyville Tuesday night at 6:30pm on censorship. Please watch it HERE. The video starts about eight minutes in. It’s one of the best forums I’ve ever seen at Fogartyville!
