This year’s session of the Florida legislature is heating up faster than the rapidly warming climate. Joining Steve and Lew is Rep. Anna Eskamani (D-47) (above) who represents the Orlando area, to talk about a bill she proposed that would direct the Office of Energy to create a plan to generate all of Florida’s energy from renewable resources by 2050. Also, we will talk about proposed education bills that would expand vouchers by diverting taxpayer dollars away from public schools, as well as, one that would require schools to offer Bible study classes. And the latest efforts to water down the Amendment 4 (which passed by 65 percent of the electorate) that automatically allows felons who have served their sentences to vote will be discussed.
