Although the people of Florida spoke loud and clear about the need to legalize medical marijuana in 2016, the implementation of the way the medicine would be dispensed has been a fight from the start. The legislature made clear its opposition to the referendum that accomplished something they refused to do in what was the most logical way — by passing a law. And since it became part of state’s Constitution — and could not be ignored — they have done their best to stall the process. Michael Minardi (above) an attorney working on marijuana issues will join Steve and Lew to explain the latest legal maneuvering around the distribution of this now legal substance.
