The Ukrainian Ambassador and a Russian Expert on Peace & Justice, Wednesday, February 8 at 9am.

This Wednesday, February 8 at 9am, we’ll talk about Ukraine and Russia. Our guests will be former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and Russian expert Dr. Angela Stent. They will have just appeared at the Sarasota World Affairs Council event at New College the previous evening, February 7 at 6:30 pm at the Marie Seiner Pavillion. Ambassador Yovanovitch’s latest book is Lessons From the Edge: A Memoir. Dr. Stent’s 2019 book is Putin’s World – Russia Against the West and With the Rest.

A second guest Wednesday will be Geoff Ogara, Writer and Director of Home From School: The Children of Carlisle, a film about Native American children who died at Carlisle Indian Boarding School. It’s showing at Fogartyville February 21st at 7pm.
