Today’s theme is “In Memoriam”, as the music world endured the passing of several greats in 2016.
David Bowie; Prince; George Michael; Leonard Cohen; Glenn Frey of the Eagles; both Keith Emerson and Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Sharon Jones, who fronted the Dap Kings; Billy Paul of Me and Mrs. Jones fame; Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane/Starship; and Maurice White, the frontman of Earth Wind and Fire are a few names that come to mind
But there were others, many others, whose names may not be as prominent but whose contributions were just as valid. Those lesser knowns are who we’ll feature on today’s ride home. Be sure to tune in at 4:00p!
