Joanne McCall (above) president of the Florida Education Association (FEA), the largest public school teachers union in the state, will join Steve and Lew to respond to Flordia House Speaker Richard Corcoran’s charge that the FEA’s opposition to a voucher-like tax credit program was “evil and disgusting.” The FEA has been denied “standing” by two appellate courts that would allow the organization to challenge the legality of the tax credit program, but plans to appeal to the state Supreme Court. She will also comment on the proposed appointment of Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.

Later, Craig Holman, lobbyist and analyst with Public Citizen in Washington D.C. will discuss perhaps the most glaring and dangerous difference of a Trump presidency compared to past presidents: the potential for conflict of interests Trump’s wealth and widespread investments presents. As one pundit mused, if FDR had owned apartment buildings in Berlin, we might all be speaking German.
