Written by on Monday, October 17, 2022

This Wednesday, October 19 at 9am, WSLR BEGINS ITS FALL MEMBERSHIP DRIVE! Bob and I will talk about some of our past shows and try to persuade you to call in (941) 894-6469‬ or go online and renew your membership. We’ll hear some quick state news from Jim Saunders of the News Service of Florida. And then we’ll talk to Mary Hampton of the Environmental Discussions Group of Manatee County. You can email her at resourcewisdom@gmail.com if you’re interested in joining her group.

On the second half of our show, since it’s the third Wednesday of the month, we’ll hear from the good people at Legal Aid of Manasota on their JUSTICE MATTERS segment. This week they’ll talk about hurricane Ian and the legal issues it raised. Leading that discussion will be Kathy N. Grunewald, Disaster Coordinator Attorney for Legal Services of North Florida.
