On Tuesday, environmental activists will plead with the Manatee County Commission to protect the Emerson Point extension land. The North Port City Commission will discuss rezoning 262 acres north of I-75 for multifamily housing.

This Wednesday Feb. 28 at 9am we’ll talk to Jim Hightower and Gene Jones about the dangers of the MAGA movement. Jim will be honored at the Florida Veterans for  Common Sense Tom Paine dinner at Fogartyville this Thursday night.
