Brian Smalley’s ‘Chosen.’  This original acoustic novel as Brian describes it ‘is an opera of sorts, and is dedicated to Zora Neale Hurston.  She was one of the finest
authors this world has ever known, and though she is gone from this world, she was there to help push the pen for me on every page.”

Presented in Four Parts it tells the story of events at a sugar mill town and its largely Haitian residents.  It features Brian  as well as Grant Peeples, LIs Williamson, Sam
Paceitti and Marianne Lerbs as singers and playing guitars, banjos, mandolins, Tres Cubano and bass with help from Christian Ward and Jonathan Hodge on fiddles.
