Join me, Mark Binder, on Friday, Aug. 18th, 7-9p Eastern, when I sit in for Russ Yodice on “Ripper’s Rarities”.
Since, technically, it will be the anniversary of the final “day” of performances at Woodstock(August
15-17, 1969), I have meticulously assembled what are, as far as I can verify, many performances over the
three days of tunes that have not been commercially released in any way, shape or form…
Canned Heat; Mountain; Creedence Cleearwater Revival; The Who; The Band; Blood, Sweat & Tears;
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
Some of the recordings might be a tad rough, but all are extremely listenable, and there are many
soundboards…and if I broadcast one that might have been commercially-released, my apologies in
advance…
