Joining Steve and Lew this week will be Democratic candidate for US Rep. Jan Schneider (above) who will first meet David Shapiro in the Democratic primary for the chance to challenge incumbent Republican Rep. Vern Buchanan. This will be the sixth time the Sarasota attorney has run for that seat on a platform including but not limited to the preservation of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security as well as supporting women’s rights and protecting the environment.
