This week Steve and Lew welcome Larry Heiny (above) and Robert Jordan to the studio to update us on the status of Amendment 2, which aims to legalize medical marijuana in the state. As many may remember, the Amendment nearly garnered the 60 percent of the electorate needed to change the state constitution the last time it was on the ballot. Larry Heiny has been a grassroots organizer for United for Care perhaps the largest advocacy group for legalization in the state and Robert Jordan has been risking arrest for decades to grow marijuana to treat his ALS -afflicted wife Cathy, who has only been helped by using cannabis.
