While it is difficult to take one’s eyes off Washington (sort of like the compulsion to stare at a gory traffic accident), there are things happening in Tallahassee that should concern Floridians. Florida League of Women Voters president, Pamela Goodman (above) will join Steve and Lew this week to update us on the League’s positions on pending legislation as well as the expected proceedings of the Constitution Revision Committee. That committee convenes every 20 years and explores needed changes in the state’s Constitution. This year’s version is chaired by Manatee County’s own Carlos Beruff.
Later, an interview Steve recorded this week with Greg Palast will reveal who was really behind Republicans failure to “repeal and replace” Obamacare. It begins with K and rhymes with oak and how they promised those “courageous” renegades in the Freedom Caucus campaign finance cover.
