The Surreal News 9-10 AM Friday 8-24-18

Written by on Thursday, August 23, 2018

Last week, the President upset with criticism of him and his administration revoked the security clearances of former CIA director John Brennan. Other former or retired intelligence officers and military officials protested the President’s capricious  and self-serving move. There are reasons why a former director of the CIA would still need to be kept in the loop so to speak and Mel Goodman (above), a senior fellow at the Center for International Policy, author, former CIA analyst, whistleblower and professor will join Steve and Lew to discuss what those reasons might be. Later, Mel will talk about his recent article on the website Counterpunch detailing  a troubling double standard at the CIA when it comes to evaluating damage to national security and what they do about it.

So turn on (the radio), tune in (to the Surreal News) and drop in for an hour of hearing about the news behind the news.
