“Yesterday’s Dead Today”, Monday, September 21st, 7-9pm Eastern

Written by on Sunday, September 20, 2020

“It is said that, if you lined up all those who have ever been to a Grateful Dead concert head-to-toe, the line would stretch around the moon, and about halfway back. And nobody would complain!”

WSLR is slowly coming back with a very sparse number of live studio programmers, albeit with very specific instructions as to how to protect both ourselves and our fellow WSLR volunteers.

The only reviews from this particular recording:
REVIEW: Good Show
A+++++ Quality, Show, and Setlist. Great show.

REVIEW: Show askew
Good attempt at being lucid. Listen to Garcia’s playing on Sunshine and his singing on Terrapin. Phil’s playing
is really good throughout. Nice last day of summer in NYC. Harmonizing is actually satisfactory on this show.
Not much of a show after drums and space. What happened backstage?

REVIEW: 9-21-93
Decent show. High quality dsbd remastered by C miller. I’m not a huge fan of the post Brent era although I went
to a couple of shows in ’91 that were real humdingers. I think I would have liked them better if they had went
back to their roots and just stuck with Hornsby on piano without Vince. I’m not a Vince hatter though.

REVIEW: Decent Show
Highlights: Terrapin Station

The only reviews from other recordings, telling me once again that this is a very under-listened-to show:
REVIEW: Good show
what stands out was the last time and here comes sunshine which were both hot – this was solid and entertaining
garden show – there is no such thing as a bad one here…..

REVIEW: Not the Same Thing
This was a fun show. My friend and I were 15th row on the floor. After the Hell>Bertha everyone sat down. We
sparked one up and remained standing. We were the only ones standing anywhere close to us. Billy saw us
blazing and he looked at us, smiled and pointed his drum stick at us. I will always remember that. The rest of the
show was good. How can you get a Terrapin and complain about a show. Some people on this forum can but not
this Dead Head.

REVIEW: Birthday Show
….great show at the Garden..on my B-day no less!!
