Needless to say, the day after election day in 2016 will live in infamy for many of us (actually more than half of the country). There has been a lot of speculation about how it happened. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is not satisfied with speculation or hand-wringing about dirty deeds and other forms of cheating that turned the election. Joining Steve and Lew is Brandon Gassaway (above), National Press Secretary for the Democratic National Committee to tell us about that organization’s response to 2016. Organizing Corps 2020 is one initiative the DNC is launching to fix mistakes made in the past to ensure a victory in this next election. It has become a clique to say the upcoming election is the most important of our lives. I, for one, do not think that in this case it is an exaggeration.
