“Yesterday’s Dead Today”, Monday, Mar. 27th, 7-9pm

Written by on Sunday, March 26, 2017

“There Is NOTHING like a Grateful Dead concert!”

Spring ‘17 On-Air Membership Drive

Remember, folks, that Monday evening, March 27th, 7-9p Eastern, it my slot in this year’s Spring ‘17 On-Air Membership Drive. Grateful Dead, from “today in history”, interspersed once a month or so with groups outside the official Grateful Dead Family envelope, or even a group you most likely have not heard of before, but have been influenced by either The Dead of one of the many related groups.

Remember, too, that after I read the week’s gig announcements, I give away a copy of the full evening’s concerts, because Jerry said, “Pass it on”…

So please go to www.wslr.org and scroll thru the fine list of “thank-you gifts” and support both “Yesterday’s Dead Today” AND WSLR LPFM 96.5 Sarasota and WBPV LPFM 100.1 Bradenton!

Remember, too, that without you, the listeners and supporters, that WSLR would not only not be in the fine facilities at 525 Kumquat Court AND our adjacent 120-seat listening room Fogartyville, but would not even have been in our start-up location at Myrtle & US41 back in ‘05…

Membership is just $35, and you will start receiving not only weekly e-blasts about events at WSLR and Fogartyville, but you will also receive our quarterly newsletter, “Soundwaves”.

As Amy Goodman, of “Democracy Now”, says, “They’re YOUR airways; take them back”. And as I always say following that, “And keep them!”

And thank you, one and all, for making WSLR Sarasota Low-Power FM Community Radio 96.5 such a continuing, rousing success!
