Dr. Dale Anderson practiced internal and emergency medicine for the first half of his professional year. He then transitioned to group practice management as the CEO of a 180-physician private medical group in Iowa. He was a senior hospital executive in charge of hospital-based medical practices for large health systems in both Albuquerque, New Mexico and Columbus, Ohio. Prior to his retirement from healthcare, Dr. Anderson was a consultant with a Miami-based healthcare strategy consulting firm. He has an medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and a business degree from Iowa State University.
He has been a resident of Florida for the past 10 years and currently lives in downtown Sarasota with his wife, Mary Montgomery.
Dr. Anderson has served as president of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota and sits on the national UU for Social Justice board. He currently serves as the president of the Sarasota Concert Association.
