Steve and Lew are honored to be visited by former Congresswoman Pat Schroeder (above) who will tell us about concerns many officials, in and out of government, are having about the upcoming 2020 Census. Schroeder, who served for 24 years in Congress representing the Colorado district that included Denver,  chaired the committee that oversaw funding for the Census. She was notably a ground-breaking, liberal, feminist who helped pave the way for all the women who have followed her to Congress by standing up to even more boorish behavior (hard to believe) from her male colleagues than women still endure today.

Later Washington bureau chief for the Pittsburg Post-Gazette, Tracie Mauriello, will us about the letter of resignation former Somali ambassador Elizabeth Shakelford wrote that castigated the Trump administration and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson for undercutting the mission of State and hurting the country.
