For the last show of the year, Steve and Lew will be joined by WSLR volunteer and Suncoast Waterkeeper, Andy Mele (above) who will give us some perspective on the imminent outbreak of red tide that will reaching our shores. It does not have to be that way. Andy will also talk about the real cost of the Trump push to deregulate everything for the sake of short term profit for the few. Although Trump was quoted telling patrons of the Mar-a-Largo dining room after the tax bill passed that “you all just got a lot richer,” he could have made that statement on inauguration day and been correct.
Francis Scheuer will also be in the studio to help us recap the year that ushers in the “age of surreality.”
