REVIEW: Very Fine Show
Gosh, this is just a nice show to listen to. Everyone is LISTENING to each
other, and seem very in the moment. Jerry’s trilling through Looks Like Rain
is just gorgeous. Heck, even Donna is on it this night.
Every Head is going to fiddle with the EQ a bit, bit this recording is really
quite clean and bright. My B&W reference speakers are not very forgiving,
and this show sounds just wonderful without touching the EQ… Of COURSE I
fiddled though.
REVIEW: Good show .
Of course we all know there are better shows in 77 but this one has some fun
stuff to it. It’s the begining of the year so song selection and adding new tunes
is all up in the air as far as the band selecting songs to play and jam to. Just
check out Wharf Rat for that observation on my part. In the begging of Wharf
Rat I hear a touch of Comes a Time and also Sing me Back home. then it’s
Wharf Rat but at the end of the song before going back to playing they sound
like they might go back to Supplication. Now that’s the fun part of the band we
love. We followed them EVERYWHERE for that reason among others. Never
knowing what they might play any given night.
This show is 4 star because 77 has many 5 stars.
REVIEW: Spring 77′ Dead!!!!
Just because this isn’t may doesn’t mean its anything less just exactly
perfect.Jerry and pretty much everybody are in the groove and it shows.Great
setlist and spring 77′ precision.I highly recommend this fine show.
REVIEW: not as bad as I thought
Just gave this a stream listen. Yeah its a little midrangy, and yeah there are a
million better ones from 77, but even the biggest turd from 77 blows many
other years out of the water. I like it.
REVIEW: Nice
Reasonable sound……heard much worse. If you tune in its all good. S->F is really coming into its own
here. Really like the jam out of Wharf back into Playin. I’m gonna give this a 4 because the band is
digging it.
