This Wednesday Feb. 28 at 9am we’ll talk to Jim Hightower and Gene Jones about the dangers of the MAGA movement. Jim will be honored at the Florida Veterans for  Common Sense Tom Paine dinner at Fogartyville this Thursday night.

This Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 9 am we’ll talk to Dr. Caryl J. Sheffield, Chair of the Manasota Remembers Historical Marker Dedication Committee about a marker to be unveiled this Saturday in memory of the six lynching victims in Sarasota and Manatee.

Join us as we talk with Steve Fugate, author of LOVE LIFE WALK. He has worn through over 50 pairs of shoes walking the US, and sharing a most important message to him: Love Life.

This Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 9 am we’ll interview Rachel Bitecofer, author of the brand new book ‘Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts – How to Save Democracy by Beating Republicans at Their Own Game’. 

This Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 9am we’ll talk to Mason Ayres from the Resurrection House about their services for homeless Sarasotans. Then we’ll interview Andrew Hudson about Jessica’s Organic Farm and the Mennonite culture.

This Wednesday at 9am we’ll interview E. Scott Osborne, writer, feminist and athlete. She’ll share her thoughts on gender issues. At 9:30 on Justice Matters, we’ll talk to attorney Neil Lyons, winner of a pro-bono service award for his help to indigent clients.

This Wednesday, January 10, we’ll interview Ahmed White, the author of Under the Iron Heel, The Wobblies and the Capitalist War on Radical Workers. Then we’ll talk to Professor Maria Vesperi of New College and Johannes Werner of WSLR about local news and their upcoming January 16 Fogartyville forum.
