This Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 9 am we’ll talk to Dr. Caryl J. Sheffield, Chair of the Manasota Remembers Historical Marker Dedication Committee about a marker to be unveiled this Saturday in memory of the six lynching victims in Sarasota and Manatee.

This Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 9 am we’ll interview Rachel Bitecofer, author of the brand new book ‘Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts – How to Save Democracy by Beating Republicans at Their Own Game’.

This Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 9am we’ll talk to Mason Ayres from the Resurrection House about their services for homeless Sarasotans. Then we’ll interview Andrew Hudson about Jessica’s Organic Farm and the Mennonite culture.

Manatees are an icon of Florida wildlife but over the last few years the population has seen a steep decline. Craig Pittman wrote Manatee Insanity in 2010 but it’s been re-released.
